In 2013, Steve established Apollo – now a leader in the UK aviation sector offering a broad range of helicopter services 

 

With more than 15,000 hours of accident-free flight time Steve is one of the UK’s most experienced pilots having operated not only in the VIP environment but also as an air ambulance pilot and in the demanding utility market.

 

Steve is a Type-Rating Examiner and has been since 1995. He ensures only the highest standards of training are met by all crew members who fly for Apollo Air Services. Steve has been instrumental in introducing the use of simulators for pilot training within Apollo and he continually strives to improve safety awareness so that it is part of the company ethos.
