ABOUTAPOLLO

Established in 2013, Apollo Air Services manages and operates a fleet of modern AgustaWestland 109 Grand New and Grand helicopters – the first choice for luxury air travel. We hold a single and multi pilot IFR Air Operator Certificate and currently operate four AW109 from our base in : Carlisle Lake District Airport.
 
Apollo boasts a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals who provide a first-class service by offering door-to-door executive travel solutions for business, celebrity and discerning family passengers. Our pilots are highly trained to ensure the highest possible level of safety and comfort and we were the first UK corporate charter operator to fully integrate simulators into our training philosophy, with all our pilots carrying out annual training at the Leonardo AW109SP simulator in Zurich.
 
Apollo was also the first UK company to gain approval to operate the AW109SP aircraft in a multi-crew role, allowing us to offer the aircraft with two fully-trained and qualified pilots, enhancing safety and enabling us to invest in the future of the industry. 

 

We also have the capability to operate out of remote sites in both daytime and at night, with ground support and remote refuelling facilities.

We operate out of Carlisle Lake District Airport, which, combined with the exceptional endurance capabilities of our aircraft, puts the whole of the UK within easy reach for any traveller.

COVIDRESPONSE

During the Covid pandemic, we enhanced our systems and procedures to ensure our passengers travelled in a-secure environment. We have continued to maintain those high standards –  the perfect way to put your mind at rest and take the worry out of your journey.

MULTICREW

We have been approved to operate the AW109SP in the multi-crew role which makes Apollo the first AW109 operator in the UK to achieve this approval.
