COVID19

'The new normal'

We have seen unprecedented times with the Covid-19 situation happening worldwide. With restrictions enforced to stop the spread of the virus, the team here at Apollo have introduced and maintain specific procedures to ensure we are following the guidelines brought in by Government.

Apollo Air Services offers a low-risk alternative to commercial flying, especially having a number of our aircraft fitted with ACA Air Purifiers which are proven to remove 99.4% of viruses, including Covid-19.

Due to the nature of helicopter flights involving small numbers, we can deliver private flying services safely due to the minimal interaction needed.

Furthermore, a helicopter flight is quicker and more efficient than other modes of transport such as a car or train, making it a much shorter duration and a point-to-point solution.

With the health and safety of our customers in the forefront of our minds, we would like to reassure you we are doing all we can to provide only the strictest of operations during this time. We have adapted by introducing the following measures which we expect to adhere to well beyond lockdown restrictions end.

Cleaning procedures

At Apollo, we consider strict cleaning extremely important as standard practice. During this time, we are continuing to enforce these procedures. This includes keeping our aircraft and facilities to the highest standard of cleanliness with our regular and efficient processes.

As a part of our strict hygiene protocols, please know we are wearing PPE, washing hands and sanitising equipment and surfaces in between customers and staff, delivering a safe environment for all concerned.

Testing times

All our pilots were vaccinated during the early phase. We anticipate the varied requirements for proof of testing or proof of vaccination to be required.

Our vastly experienced team have an exceptional understanding of the latest in travel regulations and advice concerning COVID-19 and we would be delighted to help with any charter enquiries you may have.

Further precautions

As we continue to monitor the situation, we are committed to following the laws and advice provided by the Government, aviation and health officials. With each update, we will change our procedures as required.

Apollo Air Services would like to reassure current and prospective customers of our upmost commitment to your safety and wellbeing during this time.
